Change to our Opening times is coming!!

From Monday 16th September 2019 our opening times will change to 8am - 6.30pm. From this date our telephone lines and doors will be open for patients to access and book our services.
For medical advice when the surgery is closed please call NHS 111 or logon to If your call is an emergency please call 999.
Practice Closures  2019- Protected Learning Times for Hough Green Health Park
Wednesday 24th July closed from 1pm
Thursday 26th September closed from 1pm
Wednesday 30th October closed from 1pm
Thursday 28th November closed from 1pm
On the above dates the practice will be closed from 1pm and will re-open the following day. If during these times you require urgent medical advice or attention please call 111.  Call to NHS 111 are free from both landlines and mobiles. You can also access NHS 111 online by typing

Repeat Prescriptions

We do not take prescription requests over the telephone unless you are known as housebound to the practice.

We need 48 hours to process your prescription in the Practice, further time maybe need to process at your local pharmacy, please keep this in mind when ordering your prescription.

pill_spillYou can request your repeat medication by indicating the items you require on the tear-off slip of your prescription, and posting it to us or by putting it in the box in the practice reception.

If you enclose a stamped self addressed envelope we will post your prescription to you.

Alternatively, you can order your repeat prescription via patient access, simply following the link on this page and carrying out the simple registration. 

Requests for antibiotics require 24 hour notice with a possible appointment with the GP.   If you require antibiotics urgently and we do not have any appointments left at the Practice you can attend the Widnes walk-in centre.

You can now order your prescriptions and make appointments by registering for Patient On Line Services once your details are verified you will be able to request your repeat medication on line as well as book appointments.

Medication Reviews: Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see either a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications.

Please allow two full working days between requesting and collecting your medication.

Please remember to order in good time before Bank Holidays or your annual holiday.  Just make a note on your repeat request with the reason for ordering earlier than the prescription is due.
