How Do I Make An Appointment?
The telephone lines open at 8.45 am (from Monday 16th September 2019 this will change to 8am) You can make an appointment with the Doctor or Nurse by phoning the Surgery on 0151 511 5805 or by calling in person when the reception is open:
You have a right to express a preference of practitioner and we will do our best to give you an appointment with the Doctor of your choice. Should your preferred Doctor not have a free appointment you will be offered an appointment with another GP in the practice.
You can also book your appointments via our Patient On Lines Services. You will need to create an account first by logging into www.patientaccess.com once your account has been verified you will be able to book and cancel appointments on line as well as other great benefits such as ordering your prescriptions. We also have a text reminder service at the Practice to take advantage of this service please ensure your mobile contact details are correct with our Reception Team. We will be able to text you your appointment and a reminder 24hrs before the appointment and you will be able to cancel your appointment via the text service.
You will never be refused to see a Doctor if one is available. If you no longer need your appointment please let us know.
Please remember that appointments are for ONE person only. If you feel your consultation may be lengthy, ask the Receptionist for a DOUBLE APPOINTMENT when you book.
We now have appointments on Monday evenings up to 7.00pm for those whose employment makes it difficult to see their GP between 9.30 am and 5.30 pm.
GP Extra - this is a pre bookable appointment service with a GP who will have access to your details in the Urgent Care Centre, appointments are available after 6.30pm weekdays and at weekends. You can book a routine appointment up to two weeks ahead.
