Texting Service

We now have an appointment reminder system set up at the Practice.  This will enable your appointments and reminders to be sent to you via text message.  Please update your mobile phone contact details with the Receptionist at your earliest convenience to take advantage of this great new service.

Practice Closure - Thursday 26th October 2017 from 1pm

The Practice will be closed from 1pm on 26/10/17 for Protected Learning Time we will re-open again at 8.45am on Thursday 27/10/17.  If your require urgent medical advice or attention during this time please call 111.  Call to NHS 111 are free from both landlines and mobiles.

Macmillan Cake Morning - Change in Date!!


Friday 6th October 2017- We will be holding our annual Macmillan Cake morning between 9am - 3pm at the Surgery, please come along support this great cause, we will have lots of yummy cakes on sale and a raffle prize.  All proceeds will be matched on the day by our Doctors.  If you would like to donate a cakes to sell please let our Reception Manager Vicky know.  Thank you.

Hough Green Health Park

Formerly Upton Medical Centre, Hough Green Health Park is proud to offer the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare.

We run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes and offer a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups.

FLU Season 2017/18

Over 18's flu vaccine

We have sent out letters to all patients who are eligible to receive the seasonal flu vaccine this year.  Once you have your letter please call the practice to arrange an appointment at one of our flu clinics.  We will be holding a drop in flu clinic for eligible patients over 18 on Saturday 21st October between 10.30am - 12pm also.  If you are unsure if you are eligible please contact the reception team and they will advise you further.

Under 18's nasal flu vaccine

Letters have been sent out to those under 18's eligible for this vaccine at the end of September, clinics will be on our system from the second week of October, once you have received yours/ your child's letter please call the surgery to make an appointment at one our clinics.  Please note all under 18's receive the vaccine via a nasal drop in both nostrils.

Friends & Family Test (FFT)

The NHS Friends and Family Test (FFT) is an important opportunity for you to provide feedback on the care and treatment you receive from the NHS and to help improve services. From 1 December 2014, NHS England has made it a contractual requirement that all GP Practices undertake the FFT.
In order to provide this feedback, you can CLICK HERE which anonymously sends your response or you can pick up the questionnaire in the Practice and complete and post in the green posting box in the Practice Reception Area.

Onlne Access to Medical Records

We now offer Online access to your medical records at the Practice . This means that you are able to access the information you need, to make the right choices about the care you receive, giving you increased control over your own care and care records. Access will allow you to book appointments, order your repeat medication easily and quickly, over the internet from home, work or on the move, view some of the electronic medical information held about you in the GP system. You will be required to register for online access, and will be given a password to activate your account. Please go to www.patient.emisaccess.co.uk for more information.
