Booster vaccines - All patients aged 18 and over are now eligible for their booster vaccine if it has been 13weeks since your second dose. Please visit the National Booking system or call 119 to book an appointment. Please note you will not be able to book your appointment via the GP Practice.

Spring Booster for patients aged 75 plus and immunosuppressed are now available to book via the national booking system or call 119, appointments will be available at Highfield Hospital Widnes.

Children aged 5-11years of age are now eligible to receive a COVID vaccine you can book an appointment by visiting the national booking system at www.gov.uk or call 119, appointments will be available at Highfield Hospital Widnes.

Remember these following rules still apply - DO NOT come into surgery or attend A&E or Urgent Care Centres if you have a new continuous cough and or a high temperature above 37.8 degrees and or a loss of smell and taste. If you have these symptoms please isolate and visit NHS 111 website www.111.nhs for advice and guidance or by telephone on 111.

You must wear a face covering when coming into our Practice even if you have had both vaccines you are still required to wear a face covering. If you are exempt please ensure you have your information to prove this. Please do not be offended if our staff ask you to wear a covering they are trying to protect you and themselves

Call 999 - if you feel very unwell or think there is something seriously wrong.

If you have any questions or queries regarding self-isolation, symptoms or MED 3 (sick note) please either go to 111.nhs.uk or call 111 who will offer guidance.  Please do not ask our reception staff as we do not have the capacity to take these phone calls at the moment.

We have implemented an appointment triage system with immediate effect. You will be asked by a member of our reception team what your symptoms are and booked in for a telephone triage appointment with one of our clinicians.

Any Face to face appointments will be booked by the clinician when agreed during this triage consultation. Please ensure we have your correct contact details.

In line with the advice from NHS England we are suspending online bookings for appointments until further notice.  This is to mitigate any risk that any potentially infected patients book appointments online or attend the practice. You can still order prescriptions on line via patient access.
